As an international journalist driven by narrative features and investigative work, I've ranged from Maine's stately Governor's Mansion to the mud hut of a witch doctor in Sierra Leone. When I write, my goal is to immerse the reader into the subject's world while telling a story with nuance and meaning. I enjoy finding unexplored topics, and bringing fresh perspective to existing topics.

My second book was published in April of 2023. It documents the stories of a handful of ordinary Americans who independently came to believe that they’d each stumbled upon “One True Cure” to all disease. The cures were different — lasers, leeches, bleach ingestion and baking soda injection — but they were all led by medical freedom activists down the same path, a path that is both comic and tragic. Also, zombies.

My first book was published in September of 2020. It features the strange-but-true story of Grafton, NH, a small town that became the nexus of a collision between bears, libertarians, guns, doughnuts, parasites, firecrackers, taxes and one angry llama.
